On July 15-16, the 2026 China (Guangdong) - ASEAN Trade Promotion and Supply Chain Cooperation Mechanism Matchmaking and Exchange Conference was grandly held at the Baiyun International Convention Center in Guangzhou. As the highest standard and largest ASEAN economic and trade exchange event in the province, this event brings together more than a thousand guests from government, enterprises, industry and commerce, and overseas Chinese to deeply explore new spaces for the synergy of the Guangdong ASEAN industrial chain. Guangdong's packaging industry has outstanding export advantages in technology, equipment, and materials throughout the entire chain.

The exchange meeting will set up two parallel sessions, namely New Energy and China Thailand Economic and Trade, to conduct in-depth discussions on industrial chain and supply chain coordination, enterprise overseas services, and cross-border trade support. The representatives of the organizing committee seized the opportunity of on-site docking and had in-depth exchanges of cooperation intentions with business institutions from ASEAN countries, focusing on promoting the 2026 ASGA Asia Pacific Smart Packaging Industry Technology Exhibition. Both parties have reached a consensus to jointly organize ASEAN packaging purchasers, brand manufacturers, and industrial park operators to visit and purchase at the Guangzhou exhibition in November, and to establish a two-way docking link between "Guangdong technology export and ASEAN market landing".
