The World Label Awards was founded in 1989 and is known as the "Oscar" of the label printing industry. It is the most authoritative and influential international event in the global label field. The competition evaluation for 2025 will be held in Barcelona in September, andLabelExpo EuropeThe label printing exhibition will be held simultaneously, and the judging panel will be composed of international judges from various member associations.

This competition has a total of 24 categories, covering all major printing processes and market applications in the label industry. Seven L9 member associations participated in the competition, namely: FINAT (Europe), JFLP (Japan), TLMI (United States), LMAI (India), FPLMA (Australia), SALMA (New Zealand), andCPF(China).

After strict selection by an international jury, 27 award-winning works and 12 honorary nominations were ultimately generated from 84 entries. In the ranking of the total number of awards in various countries,China ranks second in the world with 8 overall scores, second only to Europe in terms of 10 items, surpassing traditional label powerhouses such as Japan, the United States, and India.

Professor Xu Wencai, Chairman of the Packaging Printing and Labeling Professional Committee of the China Packaging Federation, served as the international judge for this competition as a representative of China. He participated in the entire judging process and witnessed the excellent performance of Chinese label works on the global stage.
